Here's a song styling for all the Liberal crankcases out there tonight. I've taken the liberty of using my lyrics to the tune of Styx - Renegade, as sung by a certain Jordanian Al Qaeda leader who's known to have dressed like an Iraqi woman:

Oh Murtha I'm in fear for my life from the hard chargin' devil dogs
Marine Recon comin' down out of Anbar and I'm so far from my home
Oh Murtha I can hear you a rantin' you're a scared old yellow toad
Door gunner shooting down from a Blackhawk and I don't have very long

YAAAHHHH

The jig is up my covers blown
they finally found me
Jihadi sheikh who had it made
I E D's all around me
Never more to bomb or slay
this may be the end today
of a wanted man

Oh Murtha I've been years on the lam and had a high price on my head
George Bush said "dead or alive" and I am sure he'll see me dead
Dear Murtha I can hear you a lying, you and Kerry aren't all alone
J-Dams are comin' in through my windows and I don't have very long

The game is up my face is known
HUMINT boys have found me
Jihadi sheikh who had it made
turned in for a bounty
Never more to bomb or slay
George Bush will have revenge today
On the terror man

Oh Murtha I'm in fear for my life from the AWAC's 'bove my home
Warthog is flyin' in from Fallujah and my roofs not very strong

The signals locked the bombs away
Air jockies have found me
Jihadi sheikh who had it made
turned into pastrami
Hope my Virgins' on the way
WAIT I'm fried in Hell today
I'm a tortured man

A TORTURED MAN....
and I have nowhere else to go, No, No

What I gained, He lost

I ride my daughter to school some mornings. We can both be a bit slow and grumpy at seven in the morning but the time spent, even in silence, is precious to me. My other big brother from a long time ago, Kenny, he never made it back from the Mekong delta, no wife, no children, no rides to school. My real big brother Fred, he lost his best friend in the world. The only memory I have of the two of them is in my living room, and they're tossing me softly in air with a blanket. Fred came home after the news, after the 'Nam. While I'm certain he has smiled and laughed since then, I've never quite seen or heard or felt the same joy I witnessed that day in the living room so many years ago.
I take my son to different sports practices. Baseball, soccer, basketball and soon football. Fred had a hard time adjusting back home, night terrors and days of anger, guilt and helplessness. He was still my big brother, the guy I bragged about in elementary school. Oh, he's the fastest runner, best long jumper and best pitcher to come out of our small town, EVER! He was quiet most times we were together, if in his house just watching TV or in the woods hunting. I gained more and more respect for him, my Dad and Grandpa as the years went by, they enlisted you know!
I lived my small town life, outdoors playing with my best childhood buddy, good ol' Larry. Fred, he made new friends and caught up with old ones, never really overtly sad or happy. He tried having a family, that went by the boards when the woman he married, (Fred took care of her daughters like his very own), left him, alone again. I never had the pressure of deciding if I should join the military, no war but the cold war raged through my teens.
Turned out I was an athlete, like my two hero's, my Dad Cline Sr. and Fred. By the time I graduated high school I found that a few small colleges wanted me to play football for them. Fred had dropped out of school, but earned his diploma and received specialized training in the Army that I know I never would have passed. He got to see me play football once, I scored two touchdowns and we won the game. I would have been just as happy losing, so long as he approved my effort.
Met my wife of twenty two years at college. Fred gave up the best years of his life for the U.S. Never a complaint never a hatred for his country, bothered only my the despicable behavior of student radicals and their treatment of returning vets. Me? I got the wife and children, the college education and friends that are still around. Fred? He lived in hootches, slept with a gun and watched friends die. Me? At eighteen I got letters from coaches asking me to play football. Fred? He got a letter, mailed by his best friend Kenny, after Kenny had stepped on a mine in the Delta.
My friends and I played football at age nineteen, Fred's walked patrols, called in artillery and died in mortar attacks. Me? From my Grandad, my Dad and my Brother I learned what sacrifices for country really meant. Fred? He lived those sacrifices, so maybe his little brother Jr., or anyone else's little brothers wouldn't have to fight that war in Viet Nam. I loved my brother back in the living room all those years ago and I love him today. He, my Dad and Grandad all made it back, they spent their youth on minesweepers off of Anzio beach, in the trenches of France and Belgium and in the jungles of southeast Asia, so that I and millions like me might never have to. Thanks! Thanks to all those veterans who gave up their lives, spent the best of their youth for the many they left behind. Love ya brother!

This tune is dedicated to all the Liberal nutball demagogues. With all credit to the Hollies for writing such timeless, cogent lyrics, this next song goes out to the from Mexico into America crowd!

"The road is long
With many a winding turn
That leads us to who knows where
Who knows where

But I'm strong
Strong enough to carry him
He ain't heavy, he's my brother

His welfare is of my concern
No burden is he to bear
We'll get there

For I know
He would not encumber me
He ain't heavy, he's my brother"

Man, I feel so much better about myself and my country now! All these illegals ain't heavy, 'cause after all their welfare is our concern, and Lord knows they would never be a burden or cumbersome in any way. What? What's that you say? The strain on prisons, social services (especially medical) and welfare programs is being steadily pushed to the brink by these non-problem causing folks? But isn't that just a problem due to shortsightedness on the part of NeoCons? After all, Ted Kennedy knows best when it comes to ensuring a new block of class envious, race baiting poverty level Democratic voters, forever attached to the party by the umbilical chord of government social welfare programs. Republicans are just too hardhearted with no understanding of the plight of these poor lost souls, as they go wandering through life in America with only a drivers license, (HOW?), doing jobs no American would stoop to do, (since the government pays folks to not work), and with all the free medical, educational and social programs they can apply for. Tax Free. Come one come all! Well I know where the road leads it leads to a country that is no longer America but some conglomerate of ideas and languages and cultures, The Semi/Quasi United States of the Borderless North American Continent. Don't worry about speaking english or learning about the history of the U.S., don't try to assimilate, the southwest will just be a Mexican satellite eventually. Laws that are unduly harsh like immigration laws, (or someday soon maybe children/adult sex clubs?) should just be ignored and if not then all the affected parties will demonstrate in the streets until spineless representatives of the country formerly known as the United States of America fall prostrate and legitimize yet another unlawful act in the name of more votes. I wonder how long the Liberals would stand for every middle class American deciding that taxes are too harsh? We'd just march in the streets on April 15th every year, without paying a dime. Can you say prison time? Is there an issue out there that can't be couched in terms of emotion? With all the Leftist organizations backing the alli alli in free movement, we can't squeeze a word of legitimate debate in between the racism, classism look at how bad they have it nonsense. Regardless of how some of the stories of disadvantaged and allegedly abused illegals may sound, the bottom line is this; in America we have laws that are in place to protect American citizens. Vicente Fox has no problem throwing out or imprisoning anyone he and his government sees as a problem for Mexico, but if we act to protect our borders we are bigots, racist bullies and cold hearted NeoCon warmongers. Laws are in place to make a society safer, to set in stone the basis of government. Once the law becomes a feeling, society has no where else to go but down. Lady justice is said to be blind, but with all the Liberal wailing and gnashing of teeth out in the MSM, one would hope she's deaf as well.

I was flipping channels last night when I stopped briefly to watch a Hallmark movie concerning Poland and the Jews during WWII. No famous actors that I could recognize but the movie seemed fairly well done, then a short line spoken as a voiceover caught my attention. It was very late and can't say I'll quote it verbatim, but it was something like; "If evil is only imagined people can live with it, when its real it's a nightmare you can't escape from". It struck me how relevant those words are, for all of history and for our world today. With the debate concerning the movie Flight 93, it's scheduled release seen by some as too soon, too painful or too incendiary, this one small piece of dialog from a television movie brings the issue into focus. For all but those indirectly affected by 9/11 the horror of terrorism is still imagined. We all saw the television news, the video replayed over and over as the towers were struck by commercial airliners, and we saw them fall. But not being there, not hearing it, not feeling the crash of the buildings or breathing the dust after the collapse it's hard for anyone to really know the horror. So we all reacted in our own ways, some overcome with grief while others rushed to the scene to do something, anything to help. The vast majority, myself included, simply worried about the next time, the next attack, how do we stop it, stop them. It wasn't long before the anti war crowd got together to blame the Government for meddling in the middle east, the oil companies for exploiting the peaceful citizens of those oil producing countries and our unmitigated support of the state of Israel instead of the poor abused Palestinians. Then came the nutball Left with their claims of "Bush knew 9/11 was going to happen, the Pentagon was not hit by an airliner, etc. etc." To those on the Left nothing can bring about peace but withdrawal, monetary contributions to the aggrieved countries and a National apology for being such hardhearted capitalist pigs. "If evil is only imagined people can live with it, when its real it's a nightmare you can't escape from". The Jihadists, the Baathists and the Iranians want nothing from us as a nation but our death, unless we convert to Islam, (of course this only relates to the Jihadists and Iranians, Baathists just want us out of Iraq and Syria, and which form of Islam? Sunni or Shiite?), we cannot appease because we are not in a position to appease those who will only settle for the Quran as the worlds Constitution and the select few Mullahs as it's leaders. I pray that our intelligence agencies, our military and our government continue to do all the Constitution allows to protect us from such ignorance, such hatred and such evil. My prayers go out to the families and those whose lives were forever changed for the worst because of the evil of 9/11, and I selfishly pray that I will never have to live that horror. What I witnessed through my television screen, what the world saw is just a glimpse of the mayhem, the destruction and death our enemies have in store for us. I, we, can only imagine.

Let us stop for a moment and ponder the thought processes of the Left. Follow me as I wander through the minefield of Liberalism. Creation is a joke. Abortion is the right of every woman, it is no business of anyone else, simply their own choice. Babies, (zygotes and fetuses), don't count as life so can be disposed of as an impediment to a womans lifestyle. We have not fully invested in our education programs. If we just spent more on our social programs they would work. Morality is decided by the individual, based on the circumstances of the moment. Tax cuts are always for the rich. Conservatives hate minorities, and will turn back the clock on civil rights. We must always be wary of the "separation of church and state". War is wrong. Healthcare is the responsibility of government. Social security is not as bad as conservatives make it out to be. Oil companies, Pharmaceutical companies, Energy companies and Haliburton are gouging the American people. Conservatives will destroy the environment. Lack of sleep, wearing a dog collar, being shot with a paintball gun and embarrassing poses with accompanying photographs are torture, same as beheadings. Christians are extremist, (except for Hillary) , looking for an American theocracy. Islam is a religion of peace. Palestinians have a grievance in Israel. Terrorist in Iraq are insurgents. The U.S. military is an Occupation force, terrorizing Iraqi women and children. We need to bring in the International community when deciding U.S. foreign policy, as well as U.S. law. Bush lied about WMD. Scooter Libby leaked the identity of a covert C.I.A. agent. Karl Rove and Dick Cheney really run the administration. Clinton was one of the greatest Presidents of all time. Al Gore won the 2000 election. Bush is just like Hitler. Drilling in ANWR will kill caribou. Humans are responsible for "Global warming". The Minuteman Project is a racist, vigilante organization. Guns are the cause of all the ills in America. Americans are overwhelmingly against the war in Iraq. The Bush administrations policy of regime change has destabilized the middle east. Bush knew about 9/11 before hand. It is a violation of our civil liberties to have bags searched before riding the subway in New York City. Boys and Girls are the same. God is a fiction created by man. 9/11 was a tragedy. People who sneak into our Country illegaly are undocumented workers. The death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment. I could continue but I have a tremendous headache trying to make sense of this mess. To all the above may I say, with no due respect, BUNK!!!

So I'm saving my money for some real estate. I'm not so sure I want to give away my plans, I may be on to something really big and I don't want to blow it. Alright, here goes nothing. To be fair I'll have to give credit where credit is due. Rush was discussing his contempt for what he calls "drive by media" coverage during his show today, specifically as it related to the reporting of gas prices at the pump. As the MSM reports it on an almost daily basis, Armageddon is fast approaching in the form of gas prices out of control. Being a common sense kind of guy I tend to want more from my news reports than breathless, over-hyped and nearly hysterical rants of a sky due to fall on my head at any given moment. What does a common sense kind of guy do in such a situation? As I've stated in previous opines, I do some reading some research and some less than sophisticated investigative work. The results of my endeavors? Gasoline is more expensive today than it was last year. I know I know, hard to believe right? But follow me on this. According to the well intentioned MSM and our liberal friends on the Left, we are heading down a road of economic collapse. No matter that the US economy is humming along with job growth and unemployment numbers that the EU would love to call their own,(and no end in sight), take it from our friends the libs, we're doomed. So breaking this prognosis down to it's bare bones I came up with the following thesis: it's the gas prices driving the economy stupid! And with these gas prices we are all heading for financial ruin here in the US, so I quickly came up with my plan. If, as is told to us over and over, we can't sustain the economy under such pressure, the British must be fleeing that little island nation by the hundreds of thousands. Soon, I'm guessing, the real estate market in the UK will go bust and I will swoop in and buy up most of the trendy flats in London for a song. After all, we can't possibly survive gas prices as they are or, good Lord forbid, prices of $2.50,$3.00 or $4.00 a gallon. The Left is on to something I'm sure of it! If they are correct in their assumptions the whole of the UK,(where the average cost of gas figured in gallons is @ $5.94), should be available to the highest bidder in a few short months. Get in touch with your real estate agent quickly before all the best cities in Jolly old England are sold. Liverpool here I come! I love it when a plan comes together!

The war on terror. By now most people have heard this turn of phrase thousands of times. The war on terror. Does the average citizen really know what they need to know about this war? We have heard it from TV news and the specialist talking heads they have on. We hear it from our government spokespersons and even the President of this great land. What is it we should know? They're evil and they hate us and they hate freedom. Simple, right? But what is the source? What drives a man or boy or woman to strap explosives on themselves and detonate it in a crowded market or bus? If you ask those who boldly pretend to know you'll be told it's because we steal, we manipulate and we subjugate those in the Arab world, (or any other peoples or third world countries), who only wish to be left alone with their Muslim faith and their sacred lands. Others feigning knowledge will say it's the only way, the only means they have to fight against the great power of the West as they strive for their right of self governance. The war on terror. Have we really heard what the war is about? Do those talking heads tell us what is actually happening? As a Left labeled right wing extremist, I wonder how many experts have done their due diligence when it comes to their reporting. And sadly I wonder, why my President won't just say what the real nature of the war is. I can make no claims of advanced degrees or scholarly excellence, no degree in religion or world politics or journalism, but I can read. The war on terror. I wish they would just say the war against maniacal methods, or the war against suicide bombers. It is a war yes and terror is surely a part of the war, but terror is not the outcome of our adversaries dreadful plan. Plain truth is we are in the midst of a religious war. No, not the historically inaccurate version of the crusades you teach professor Lefty, but a war brought to us by a fanatical religious group of the Muslim faith. They don't care about oil or cartoons or Iraqi elections and a free Afghanistan. They have no thought for any worldly thing except following the evil word of the prophet Mohammed and making everyone and everything in the world bow before their Allah and his ancient archaic laws. How in the world would I come to this conclusion? Reading about it. Imagine that! I didn't get it from NBC, CBS, ABC or CNN or FOX. I purchased as many books as I could afford over the last 10 or so years and studied. The Muslim is a slave to their holy book the Quran and the many clerics who have added their understanding to the hundreds of Hadith or traditional interpretations of the book . The fanatics hold to the most extreme writings. If a good Muslim, as required of them by the prophet Mohammed, (through his interpretation of a personal revelation from Allah), they must ignore all but Allah by following the five pillars of Islam. First is Shadada, or witnessing for Islam. Second is Salat, prayer. The third pillar is Hajji, the pilgrimage to Mecca their holy city. Fourth is Zakat, the giving of alms to the poor. The fifth is Sawm, fasting during specific holy days. This all sounds good and holy and for those who do not study all the writings of the Quran it may well seem good to them. The problem begins with the Sixth pillar of Islam that 99.9% of the Wahabbist inspired clerics deny exists to the outside world. Wahabbist? An interpretation of Islam by a much revered 13th century scholar named Ibn Taymiya. Quickly it means that Islam strayed from the right path and to right the ship they had to become more hateful. No tolerance of outsiders, non believers or infidels. And the conquering of the whole world for Allah through the Sixth Pillar of Jihad. Jihad is one of the words that Islamic apologists will tell you means an inner struggle to be pure, but that's a lie. Jihad as explained by Ibn Taymiya was the taking up of arms and defeating anyone not a Muslim, or even Muslims considered apostate, and to retake and defend to the death any lands that at any time in history were under Muslim control. From there it was on to the conquest of the world. The only strictly held teachings were to come from Ulama' al Islam, or the Scientist of Islam. These clerics were to be the only interpreters of the Quran, Sunnah and Haddith that could be followed Again, I am not an expert but having read through dozens of books concerning the Muslim religion and the historical background of the many wars undertaken in the name of Allah, it's not hard to understand why we are under attack and at war. Yes they hate us! But not because of any perceived slight or capitalism, nor because we enjoy the many freedoms our representative republic provides us. No, for this group nothing but Dar Islam is acceptable. Dar Islam simply means the Islamic world. Our crime? Being part of Kufir, those who do not believe or follow Allah. Got it? If you are a good Muslim you can live in peace as long as you follow the rules. Should you believe as a traditional follower of Judaism or Christianity some would tell you that as a believer you are connected to Islam by way of Abraham, or a person of the book, and as such that you can live in peace in the Muslim world. Not if left to these extremist. As a Jew or Christian you are perceived as an unbeliever and you have no rights but are essentially a non-human so your death at the hands of a suicide bomber is a victory for Allah. It's one less non Muslim and a great personal victory for the bomber who is taught from his holy book that your death by his death gets him to Heaven and a hedonistic party for all eternity. Please, for your sake and the sake of those you love, do some personal study. Crack open any book you can find that will fully explain what we are facing, but be careful. The liberal academia at some of our most prestigious universities have been funded through and their faculties staffed by Trusts and educational organizations made up of individuals sympathetic to the very group of Muslim fanatics we are being attacked by. It is way to easy for the pundits to say that we have offended these groups by what we say or do or don't say or do. The truth of the matter is we offend them because we are still alive! It's a religious war, period! Should we allow the liberals in our country to fight this war on our behalf we would be at the mercy of these fanatics in a few short years. The only way to defeat these extremist murderers is to kill them on the battlefield or to deal out the harshest punishment available by law. My preference would be the death penalty. An acceptable second choice would be life in prison in the country of their origin. Don't be swayed, they can't be converted, diverted or otherwise controlled by negociations or worse yet, appeased by withdrawals. And oh yes, I have a message for all you atheist out there as well. Just because you chose to reject Judeo-Christian beliefs or any other world religion don't think they will leave you to your own choices. You believe as they demand, in accordance with the Quran, you live. Reject Allah, you die. War on terror. The war is a religious war. The terror is that most people in this country don't know it, refuse to believe it and worse yet, defend the rights of these killers to attack us.
